B2B Case Study: AI Adoption Among IT Decision Makers in the UK & Germany via CAWI

Project Overview :

Datnal conducted a B2B CAWI study across the United Kingdom and Germany, targeting IT decision-makers (CIOs, IT Directors, Heads of Infrastructure) at mid-to-large enterprises regarding AI adoption in enterprise operations.

Challenge :

Reaching verified senior IT decision-makers in two competitive European markets within a 10-day field window. The client required strict seniority validation and an N of 150 (75 per market) with a 15-minute LOI, at a competitive CPI.

Solution :

We blended multiple B2B sample sources with our proprietary screening layer to maximize reach while maintaining quality:

  • Job Title Verification : Double-verification of seniority through profile data and open-end role validation.
  • Company Size Screening : Employee-count and revenue filters applied at entry.
  • Multi-Source Sampling : Blended B2B panels to avoid single-source dependency in senior audiences.
  • Device Compatibility : Full mobile optimization to capture busy executives on the move.

Project Results :

Target: IT Decision-Makers, UK & Germany, 500+ employee companies.

N Size: 150 completed interviews (75 per market).

Length of Interview (LOI): 15 minutes.

Field Time: 10 days.

The project delivered on target with strong data quality scores, providing the client with a clear comparative view of AI investment intent, budget cycles, and vendor selection criteria across the two markets.
